As a Vice President with Valesco, Kaitlynn Akins’ primary responsibilities focus on the operations of the portfolio through strategic planning, acquisitions, corporate budget and finance, executive recruitment and development, and corporate growth. She actively manages Actio, Valesco’s performance program for driving predictable company growth, and is focused on enhancing the value of the portfolio. Her prior experience in project management, marketing, and operations provided her exposure to emerging technologies, high-growth business strategy, and value-driven operations that support her initiatives within the firm.
Kaitlynn received her Master of Business Administration from the Naveen Jindal School of Management from the University of Texas at Dallas with a concentration in Finance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Event Management and Minor in Business Administration and French from the University of Florida.
When she’s not at work, Kaitlynn enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, and she loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Additionally, she is passionate about helping individuals with disabilities and special needs. Kaitlynn has served as a Resource Board Member for Special Olympics Texas, is a member of the Tim Tebow Foundation and active volunteer with the Belong Disability Ministry.
