Casey Ragan serves as external general counsel for Valesco. He and his law firm oversee and are responsible for legal matters of Valesco, including acquisitions, compliance and day-to-day legal activities. Casey’s responsibilities also include advising Valesco’s investment team and the boards of directors and officers of Valesco’s portfolio of companies to assist in risk management and support Valesco’s brand and mission of Commitment Beyond Capital.
Casey has spent the past 15 years – in both private practice at Am Law Top 50 Law Firms and as In House Counsel for Valesco and other capital management firms – focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions, particularly from a private equity lens, with expertise in industries ranging from manufacturing, to retail, to professional services, to energy
Casey received his B.S. from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from Southern Methodist Law School, cum laude.
