As Chief of Staff at Valesco, Angie Henson serves in key roles related to new investment origination, investor relations and firm operations. Angie leads and coordinates special projects and cross-departmental initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline communication, and align team priorities with Valesco’s strategic goals. Additionally, she is a member of Valesco’s Investment Committee.
Her leadership in strengthening Valesco’s brand voice—through content creation, social media presence, and strategic communications—has positioned the firm at the forefront of market awareness and business development. Angie’s work has helped expand Valesco’s reach, deepen investor engagement, and reinforce its reputation for thoughtful, relationship-driven investing.
Outside of Valesco, Angie is a Board Member of the American Valor Foundation, which supports military veterans, first responders and their families, is a volunteer with Mentors Care, an organization that connects at-risk high school students with adult volunteers to mentor them toward graduation and purposeful lives.
In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading and being outdoors. And, among the little-known facts about Angie – she holds the best dragster quarter mile time among us Valescans (truth be told, she’s the only one of us to ever set foot on a NHRA track) and she once caught a bird while fishing!
Angie joined Valesco in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University. She also earned a certificate in entrepreneurial studies from Southern Methodist University.
