As a Partner and Investment Committee Member at Valesco, Addison Kim supports all aspects of the firms’ operations. Specifically, he serves as a Board member for several portfolio companies and is instrumental in integrating ACTIO, Valesco’s performance program aimed at driving predictable company growth. In addition, he also as oversees the firm’s LP coverage effort.
Addison brings prior experience from his role from another middle market private equity. Addison’s insight from this experience has contributed to his ability to analyze new opportunities, manage our portfolio companies effectively and fundraise to support our investment strategies.
Outside of his day job, Addison loves to spend time with his wife Ari son Carlyle. As a Dallas native, on the weekends you can find him cruising the town with his family or searching the DFW metroplex for the next best spot to eat.
Addison has an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas with two Bachelors of Science in Finance and Global Business.
