As an Analyst with Valesco, Luke Terradista’s primary responsibilities include investment origination, deal pipeline management, and business development. Luke also contributes to the other key functional areas, such as portfolio company management and financial & strategic due diligence.
Before joining Valesco, Luke worked as a Financial Analyst Intern with the US Development Finance Corporation (DFC) where he assisted the Defense Production Act taskforce with the debt financing of biotech and healthcare companies fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this experience, Luke learned how to evaluate private companies financially and strategically. He has been able to apply these skills to his work so far at Valesco, bringing a unique perspective to the team.
Luke earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University. During his time at SMU, he served as President of the SMU Mock Trial program where he honed his critical thinking and public speaking skills. He also served as Engagement Manager for Consult Your Community, a pro-bono consulting firm that serves small businesses across the country. Outside of the office, you can find Luke exploring new restaurants in Dallas, watching his favorite hockey team, or shredding the ski slopes.
