Valesco Successfully Exits Investment In G.E.T. Enterprises, LLC

Valesco is Excited to Announce the Successful Sale of G.E.T. Enterprises, LLC ("G.E.T.") to Olympus Partners

Feb 22, 2016

Valesco is excited to announce the successful sale of G.E.T. Enterprises, LLC (“G.E.T.”) to Olympus Partners. In November 2011, Valesco partnered with ShoreView Industries (“ShoreView”) in the acquisition of G.E.T., a leading provider of creative tabletop solutions. Based in Houston, Texas, the company designs, sources, and distributes branded tableware products made from alternative materials, such as melamine and thermoplastics, that are used by commercial hospitality and institutional foodservice providers.

During the hold period Valesco and ShoreView assembled a strong management team, transitioned the company from an entrepreneur-owned, family-run business to an institutionally managed enterprise, and expanded the operations through both internal initiatives as well as multiple add-on acquisitions. Our successful partnership with ShoreView and new management brought about a marked increase in revenues, earnings and enterprise value.

We look forward to continuing our investment strategy of partnering with business owners and management teams to achieve similar success through Valesco equity and subordinated debt investments.

Founded in 1994, Dallas based Valesco Industries invests subordinated debt and equity in lower middle-market businesses throughout the United States. Valesco invests for both majority and minority positions for internal growth, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and recapitalizations, with particular focus on manufacturing, value-added distribution, and business services.

Please contact Patrick Floeck at (214) 393-2532 if Valesco may be of assistance to you or your clients.
